Welcome to Ayurvedic CollegeToday a new health care paradigm is emerging. Ayurveda, the "science of life," is a comprehensive health care system that originated in India 5,000 years ago. The aim of Ayurveda is to remedy the root imbalances that lead to disease and create optimal conditions for health and healing. Ayurveda teaches that the foundation of true health is alignment with our spiritual nature and living in harmony with the natural world. Ayurveda's holistic paradigm and lifestyle therapies perfectly complement modern health care.

The mission of Dhanvantari Ayurveda is to provide the highest quality education in the field of Ayurveda. International Ayurvedic teachers and practitioners, Dr's. Light and Brian Miller, teach the Sarasota program. Students receive a comprehensive understanding of Ayurvedic principles and healing practices through academic education and clinical case study. The two-year, weekend format allows students to obtain their Associates Degree while maintaining work and family responsibilities.

Our graduates are Ayurvedic Clinical Consultants -- holistic educators, healers, and counselors who serve as catalysts for wellness within their communities. They offer Ayurvedic constitutional analysis, assess current imbalances, and design individualized healing regimes using diet, herbs, meditation, aroma therapy, exercise, sound, color, and other lifestyle therapies. Working alongside traditional and complementary health practitioners, our graduates are helping to create a healthier world.

If you are seeking a new career, self healing, or a way to improve the health of your family and community, consider joining the growing number of Ayurvedic Clinical Consultants who are committed to sharing the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. Review our online catalog and contact us to schedule a personal telephone interview.
